Asset Management & Recovery

The Balmain Group has a dedicated Asset Management team headed by senior executives with significant property and asset work-out experience. The Asset Management team has a combined experience of over 80 years and works hand-in-glove with the Credit team. In instances where borrowers experience difficulty this ensures optimal loan recovery solutions from the underlying assets and guarantors. On request the Asset Management team is available to provide strategic input into the credit underwriting process. This may include the inspection of properties proposed to be used as security and the provision of detailed market input on exit strategies.

The team has been appointed to manage CRE debt portfolios totalling $A11 billion and currently manages $A5 of billion distressed CRE debt.
